- Research into law firms for Christmas, Easter & summer vacation schemes by attending law fairs and careers events.
- Mid Nov
- Application for Christmas vacation schemes should be received by Mid Nov
- Dec
- Attend Christmas schemes
- Jan
- Apply for Easter and summer schemes by end of the month
- March/April
- Attend Easter scheme (depending on dates for Easter)
- End of July
- Official application deadline
- Summer vacation
- Vacation scheme if possible. Start applying for training contract as early in the summer as possible for interviews in September
- September
- Start final year of degree
- September following year
- Start LPC Course
- August or February
- Start training contact
- 2 years later
- Qualify
- Between 6-8 years later
- Be considered for partnership
