CLIENT SECONDMENTS
If you go on a client secondment, you will typically spend six months in the client’s in-house legal department. Clients to whom we currently second trainees include Barclays, BAT, Egg, Equitable Life, ExxonMobil, Ford, Ford Credit, John Lewis, Lloyds TSB, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Prudential and SABMiller.
A client secondment provides excellent commercial experience and an opportunity to take on more responsibility within a small team. The work can be extremely varied. You will of course have the full support of the firm's resources to call on whilst you are on secondment. Approximately 40% of our trainees go on a client secondment at some point during the training contract.
