ATLANTIC HOUSE

Main Reception — Level 4
Welcome to Atlantic House, Lovells London headquarters. Atlantic House is home to over 1100 lawyers and staff. It is a purpose built, award winning building that provides over 350,000 square feet of office space, spread over 12 floors. The first thing you notice as you come into Atlantic House is this enormous water feature by Angela Connor. It spans nearly the entire height of the building and is one of the tallest indoor sculptures in Europe.
Gym — Level 1
This is the gym. It's completely free and has all the state of the art equipment you would expect, as well as plasma TV screens and a separate exercise studio. It also has lockers and showers to make life a little bit easier for cyclists. And for the less energetic there is also a pool and a snooker room.
Restaurant — Level 3
The restaurant offers many different choices, all of which are subsidised. You can grab a quick, freshly made sandwich or sit down and enjoy a hot meal from a wide range of choices. Sandwich orders can be emailed down here in advance to save you time. The spacious tables are ideal for informal meetings or for just catching up with colleagues.
Penson Library — Level 4
The Penson library is staffed and so it is always in perfect order. You will have access to legal and business research professionals. And along side the traditional legal reference materials, you will also have access to premium online information services. Like many libraries it has quiet, calm areas set aside for study.
Practice Areas — Level 4 to Level 10
Here is the hub of Atlantic House where most of your day to day work will take place. Some of the offices have a dramatic view of the atrium whilst others look onto the City and the West End.
Auditorium — Level 11
As a trainee you will be spending quite a bit of time in the auditorium.
It is equipped with the very latest presentation technology and we use it for both internal and external lectures and seminars. It is also often used as a mock courtroom.
Client Reception — Level 11
This is our client reception room. As you can see it has wonderful views across the City of London. It combines luxury and comfort with a calm business like atmosphere that our clients really appreciate. Over 30 conference rooms and smaller meeting rooms fan out from this central area.
